Delivery & Site Preparation

Receiving your kit, staging the site, and the standard crate dimensions and weights.

Growing Dome kits are delivered directly to your project site and require coordination prior to assembly. Arctic Acres ships across Canada, with delivery arranged in advance to ensure you are available to receive and inspect your order. Shipping timelines, costs, and logistics will vary depending on your location and site accessibility.

Receiving Your Kit

Growing Dome kits are packaged for transport and typically arrive as a series of crated and bundled components. Kits include multiple crates or pallets depending on the dome size.

Unloading requirements may vary; some deliveries may require equipment such as a forklift or telehandler depending on the shipping provider and site conditions. Our team will coordinate delivery details with you in advance for your greenhouse delivery anywhere in Canada, and remain available to assist with planning.

Site Access & Staging

Before delivery, ensure your site is prepared to receive materials:

  • Provide clear access for delivery vehicles
  • Allow space for unloading and temporary storage
  • Ensure materials can be moved safely to the build area
  • Long-term storage of components should be weatherproofed

Organizing components before assembly will help streamline the build process and reduce delays.

Planning Your Build Environment

Once materials are delivered, your project site becomes an active workspace.

  • Maintain a safe and organized work area
  • Use appropriate safety equipment during handling and assembly
  • Plan for movement of materials and tools throughout the build
  • Plan equipment use carefully during construction; large tools or machinery should be used before the structure is enclosed.

Preparing your site in advance will help ensure a smooth transition from delivery to construction.
