Upgrades and Optional Additions

Fitted room dividers, the GeoHab module, exterior colours and window placement.

GeoHomes in the six exterior colours

GeoHome can be planned as a simple open-concept structure or configured with upgrade options that improve layout, function, appearance, and long-term use. These options should be reviewed early, as they may affect interior planning, utility routing, engineering documentation, delivery, budget, and installation. For current upgrade details, specifications, and examples, refer to the GeoHome catalogue or speak with the Arctic Acres team during the planning process.

Fitted Room Dividers

GeoHome can be configured with a fitted room divider for customers who want more defined interior space. Three layouts are available: the Core Suite, our primary layout with one open room and one enclosed, ideal for integrating a bathroom and kitchenette; the Round Suite, with two enclosed rooms that create defined zones for offices, studios, or flexible multi-use space; and the Utility Suite, which combines a private room with compact space for utilities or storage. Each provides a more conventional wall surface for storage, fixtures, lighting, outlets, plumbing, cabinetry, or utility routing. These dividers can help create dedicated zones for a bathroom, kitchenette, storage area, mechanical space, loft, or other interior functions.

GeoHab Connected Module

The GeoHab module is a connected front addition that adds approximately 150 sq. ft. of usable space to the GeoHome. It can function as an entryway, mudroom, storage area, utility space, bathroom, kitchenette, or mechanical room. This GeoHome add-on can improve day-to-day functionality while expanding the overall layout options available for your project.

Exterior Colours and Panel Options

GeoHome is available in two standard exterior colours: Space Grey and Tundra White. Additional colour options may be available as a paid upgrade. Lighter colours such as Tundra White may be preferred in warmer or high-sun locations, while darker colours may be selected for design goals, visual contrast, or cooler settings.

Window Placement and Custom Openings

Window placement affects natural light, views, privacy, solar gain, and climate control. Most panel areas can be reviewed for window placement, except for the uppermost peak panels and other restricted areas (as shown in the illustration below). Arctic Acres recommends the standard window configuration for many projects, as it provides natural lighting and scenic views while helping balance insulation, comfort, and energy performance.

Custom Additions and Future Planning

Arctic Acres can provide detailed plans, schematics, and product-specific guidance to support a range of layouts and applications. Additional customizations such as bathrooms, kitchenettes, utility areas, built-ins, fireplace or chimney passthroughs, and specialized interior layouts are typically completed with your installer, contractor, or local trades. Our team is available to discuss unique project goals and assist where possible during the planning process. Refer to the GeoHome website and catalogue for future GeoHome add-ons.
